Arrival and Departure


Can I check in early?

We guarantee our rooms to be available from 3pm. Please feel free to let us know if you are arriving early and we can do our best to have the room ready for you, however we cannot guarantee this.

If you arrive early, and the room is available then an early check in may be possible.


Can I have a late check out?

Please check with the team when you arrive at the hotel, A later checkout may be possible depending on the movements for that day and there may be a small fee.


Can I store my luggage?

Yes we have luggage storage facilities onsite where we can store your luggage prior to and after check out.


How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

There are several options, the first is the Skybus from the airport (both Melbourne and Avalon Airport) the second is a private airport transfer which our team can arrange for you.

Is there car parking?

Yes we have limited secure car parking available onsite for $25 per day, should the car park be full our friendly reception team will be able to assist you with options closeby.


What are the Reception operating hours?

We are a full service hotel, our reception is staffed 24 hours a day so there is always somebody there to assist you.


What is Check In time?

We guarantee our rooms to be available from 3pm onwards. If you are arriving prior to this, please contact us to let us know. We will try to have rooms ready for an early arrival but we cannot guarantee it.


What is Check Out time?

Our check out time is 1100 hrs. A later checkout may be possible depending on the movements for that day and there may be a small fee.


What is required upon check in?

Upon check in we will ask for valid photo ID and payment / security deposit via credit card. The name on the reservation must match the person checking in, if this is not the case please contact the hotel ahead of time.

 


Hotel Facilities

Are the rooms serviced daily?

Our guest rooms are refreshed daily with a linen change occuring after each 3 nights (except for guests staying on a long stay rate where they are serviced weekly).


Are there elevators?

Yes, the hotel has elevators which can be accessible from any floor, including the car park levels.


Can I arrange a baby cot?

Yes, we have baby cots available, there is an additional charge for a baby cot.


Can I arrange an extra bed in the room?

Our studio rooms are not suitable for extra beds and are strictly limited to two people. However, extra beds can arranged for some other room types. There is an additional charge for an extra bed.


Do the apartments have a kitchen?

All of our guest rooms have a kitchenette. This consists of a two burner gas top, a microwave oven and all necessary cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.


Do you have any interconnecting rooms?

We do not have rooms with interconnecting doors, rather we will do our best to place family or social groups as close as possible.


Do you have any rooms with balconies?

No we do not have rooms with balconies.


Do you have any smoking rooms available?

Pegasus is strictly a non smoking hotel.


Is there a restaurant available?

The hotel has a restaurant and bar that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. A takeaway service is available if you would prefer to eat in your room.

The hotel has complimentary wifi available in all guest rooms and public areas.


What facilities does the hotel have?

In addition to the food and beverage facilities as listed above, the hotel has a swimming pool and gymnasium on level one as well as a self service guest laundry.

Can I bring my pet?

Pegasus does not allow pets other than designated assistance animals.


Can I request a room on a high floor?

Some of our room categories are only on the lower floors of the building. If you would prefer a room on a higher floor it is best to reserve one of our “Executive Rooms” which are located on the top 3 floors of the hotel.

Can my friend come and stay with me?

All guest rooms have a maximum number of people prescribed, depending on their size. We kindly ask that all guests staying in the room be registered.


Do you accept all credit cards?

Pegasus accepts all major credit cards including Union Pay and JCB Card.


Does Pegasus have an App?

Yes! We are so pleased you asked. We have a Digital Guide which is free to download from Itunes or Google Play. The guide contains useful information on the facilities in your room and throughout the hotel. In addition the Guide also contains several GPS enabled walks around Melbourne containing lots of local secrets and recommendations. Download it now!
